Black chemical henna is not a natural substance – it is mixed with paraphenylenediamine (PPD) which changes the colour and reacts more quickly on the skin. PPD is a toxic substance often used in black hair dye which causes the colour of the dye to be nearly black, much darker than natural henna.

PPD can cause:

Oozing blisters that are itchy and painful, Permanent scarring, Throat irritation, Sensitisation dermatitis, Bronchial asthma, Nausea, Sore throats, Light headedness.

As a henna artist I may wish to advise my clients on the use of natural henna or non-chemical black henna cone and provide you with a list of ingredients demonstrating you do not use PPD.

Precision:

These Henna cones are hand rolled to perfection with a pin less than 0.5mm wide. It’s ideal for artists who wish to create henna at parties and events with a quick flow.

How to use:

Each henna cone comes with with a pin at the tip. Remove pin and start using. Gently press for fine lines. Once application is over, close the cone with the pin to avoid damaging the tip of the cone. Keep paste on skin for 4-8 hours before washing it off.

I still don’t recommend to buy Non-chemical Black henna cones if you have sensitive skin, just go with natural organic henna or Jagua henna.

The first time you wipe it off, it may seem like all is okay. But, 12 hours later, you will find patches of Jagua smudges on your hand. It can become messy and you will not be able to remove it with soap and water.

The stain will be black in shade within 24 – 48 hours. The fresh stain tends to transfer, so be careful while keeping it on.

You cannot remove henna immediately. You will have to exfoliate your skin regularly and let it fade naturally. Exposure to swimming and bathing will fade henna quicker.

Non-chemical Black henna cone gives you instant color within 1-2 hours and lasts upto 3-4 days.

This henna cones can be kept at room temperature.
